Monica, a proud native of Mexico City, has cultivated a distinguished career in architecture that reflects her passion for art, innovative design and sustainability. She earned her degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana, where her foundational skills took root. After honing her craft at TEN Arquitectos under the guidance of Enrique Norten, Monica embarked on a transformative journey to New York City, where she completed a Master’s Degree in Advanced Architectural Design at Columbia University.

Her diverse experience across leading design/build firms enriched her perspective and inspired her to establish MWT Design, where she serves as founder and head designer. MWT Design is renowned for its seamless integration of art and architecture, emphasizing sustainability and the creative reuse of materials. Monica's visionary approach champions not only aesthetic excellence but also a profound connection with nature, positioning her as a forward-thinking leader in the architectural community.
